EPAGA® Home Care first opened its doors in 2007 under the name Agapé Home Care, founded on the principle of caring for others with Agapé, or God’s perfect love. When the business began franchising in 2018, we learned the name Agapé couldn't be trademarked — so we simply spelled it backwards, becoming a reflection of God’s love.

Owners Kevin & Inga Lake, along with Julie Brubaker, share a deep commitment to caring for their local and statewide communities — not only the clients we serve, but the caregivers who serve them. We consider it a tremendous honor to offer meaningful employment at home, and we take pride in the caregivers we bring onto our team. Our standard is simple: we only send caregivers we would trust to care for our own grandmothers. Many of our caregivers have been with us since the very beginning, and collectively, we view our work not as a job, but as a privilege — one we continually strive to grow into through better care for our senior community.

Along with our committment to care, we believe deeply in lifelong learning. EPAGA offers its own accredited caregiver training program, and every employee is required to maintain a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education annually. Over the years, we've developed specialized training in areas including dementia care, Veteran care, hospice care, and more — ensuring our caregivers are equipped to meet the unique needs of every family we serve.

If you have a need for home care, we have the caregiver for you. EPAGA Accredited Caregivers provide companionship to full personal care, from 2-24 hours per day, with care plans that are tailored individually to meet the specific needs of each client.

While headquartered in Helena, James, Michelle, and their team proudly serve Helena, Butte, Anaconda, and Deer Lodge, MT — bringing decades of combined health care experience to every family they support.
